Megaplex is seeking passionate and detail-oriented Servers for the restaurant at our new Cinema Entertainment Center (CEC) in Downtown Daybreak! This exciting venue features theatre exhibition, bowling, a restaurant, and an arcade, located adjacent to the Ballpark at America First Square, home of the Salt Lake Bees.

What You'll Do :

A Server has the responsibility of providing impeccable Guest service and enhancing the overall Guest experience in the dining room and bowling area. The goal of the Server is to connect with Guests to build relationships and provide friendly, attentive, timely, fun and knowledgeable service

Responsibilities Overview :

  • Take food and beverage orders with accuracy and a positive attitude
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner and ensure that all food and beverages are maintaining our exceptional standards of quality and freshness.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all food and menus and remain proactive in staying current on all new menu items and specials.
  • Maintain above standard level of cleanliness in assigned work area and side stations throughout shift (sweep, mop, clean tables etc.).
  • Maintain above average concern for both personal and professional cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Provides impeccable Guest service, beginning with acknowledging and welcoming Guests.
  • Is proactive in identifying and assisting Guests who may need assistance.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Point of Sale (POS) system, accept payment and provide accurate change or receipt in a timely manner
  • Prepare tables and lanes for new Guests in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • What You'll Need to Bring to the Show :

  • 1 -2 years' experience in a guest-service related field preferred
  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. (preferred)
  • Be a team player with the willingness and ability to assist as needed in other departments.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
  • Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness.
  • Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work while consistently walking, standing, and twisting.
  • Willingness to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (we're open 365 days a year, and the show goes on!).

    • The Pay : 11 / hour + tips

    Start Date :

    Our goal is to hire and train our staff Mid-June for our opening in July 2025.
