At this time, Sener in Los Angeles is looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to join our team on a perm basis. This role may involve some visits to project offices along with our office in Los Angeles. ( this role is hybrid but would involved office based work mostly)

Responsibilities :
Monitor and foster compliance to contractual requirements by consulting with the project delivery teamContribute to the development and implementation of any risk mitigation plan, including the drafting of formal project communicationsMust front face with clients and liaise with them on all matters related to contractsReview, draft, and negotiate end customer & supplier agreementsLead, in tandem with other colleagues (e.g., Sales, Procurement, etc.), the development of contractual arrangements between the company and its customers or suppliersAdvise on contractual structures and risks emanating from the envisioned transactionEnsure that project delivery interests are being advanced and coordinate inputs from support functions within company (e.g., Finance, Insurance, etc.) with emphasis on infrastructure-type and technology contractsManage contract change order processProactively work to ensure that contract requirements for realizing change orders are submitted in a timely fashion and contain all required information, including sufficient supporting documentationLead the management of claims, including but not limited to those associated with out-of-scope work and extension of time, in consort with internal stakeholders (e.g., Project Manager, executive management, etc.) by ensuring that all required contractual steps are professionally managedOther duties as assignedRequirements :
Must have 5-10 plus years of experience in contracts managementMinimum of 5-7 years' experience administering / negotiating / managing contracts on large Civil or Infrastructure projectsMust have both client and supplier experienceManagement experience an assetExperience in the Rail or large Civil project industry preferredStrong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to deal professionally with difficult individuals and problematic situationsEngineering background is a plus but not mandatoryMust be an Initiative-taking individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision, who is also a team playerLegal background an asset but not mandatoryMust have the ability to comprehend and understand requirements, company policies particularly pertaining to contracts, insurance, bonding, and risk managementFluency in other languages like French and Spanish an asset but not mandatoryExperience working on large projects in Rail and Infrastructure is mandatoryDepartment Mobility Locations Los Angeles (EEUU) Remote status Hybrid Employment type Full-time
