Company is a reputable, third-party medical billing company providing billing and consulting services to clients of various provider specialties. Insurance A / R Coordinator

Qualified applicants should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical billing field with a focus on physician services. Experience with multiple provider specialties is very much preferred. Knowledge of the Epic and CareTracker billing system are a PLUS, but very detailed hands-on industry experience is most important.

This position will be primarily responsible for the following tasks of Insurance A / R follow-up :

The ideal candidate will possess a dedicated work ethic, strong problem-solving skills, commitment to meet / exceed the companys high level of quality, and an overall positive attitude. The ability to independently troubleshoot and research complex issues is necessary in order to be successful at this position. It is a must to follow the constantly changing policies from the various insurance payers in order to proactively anticipate operational and workflow-related changes that the billing operation must adhere to in order to avoid unnecessary denials and loss in provider reimbursement. Strong attention to detail and great diligence in following through on complicated and / or time-consuming items is critical. Coordination and timely communication with management and fellow team members on new trends / issues is essential. We operate in small teams, so demonstrating that you can work well with others is absolutely necessary.
