Restaurant Depot, a national wholesale restaurant supplier seeking a purchasing / buying assistant to work in our Anaheim buying offices. Job responsibilities include creating purchase orders, price changes, faxing, telephone calls (to vendors and our branches), general office-type work. Prior experience in purchasing field and / or food service highly desirable. Logistics experience / knowledge a big plus! Must be detailed-oriented, have excellent follow-up skills, and have good communication skills. Basic PC requirements include MS Excel, Word, Outlook / E mail, and a general understanding of UPC / bar code system. Must work well under pressure meeting deadlines, and be able to multi-task projects. This is a Mon-Fri full-time position that includes benefits and 401k plan.
