Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and coordinate the work of junior engineers, designers, and CAD personnel assigned to your team.
Serve as the primary client contact for active projects, ensuring strong communication, customer satisfaction, and support for future business opportunities.
Demonstrate proficiency across key substation engineering disciplines, including physical layout, protection and control, relay settings, field support, commissioning, and relay testing.
Perform and direct project design activities, including engineering calculations, software-based design work, and adherence to applicable standards, procedures, and manuals.
Oversee the development of complex project documents such as technical specifications and bid packages.
Review and guide the preparation of detailed plan sets, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and full representation of design intent.
Support and train Project Engineer I and II team members.
Use Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for project and communication needs.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the organization.
Perform other duties consistent with the scope of the position.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
510 years of relevant professional experience.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
