OB / GYN Physician Locum Tenens

Location : Gallup Indian Medical Center Gallup, NM

Schedule : Inpatient & Outpatient + hr call shifts

Gallup Indian Medical Center is seeking a skilled OB / GYN physician to provide full-spectrum women's health services in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. This locum tenens role offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to serve Native American communities in beautiful northwest New Mexico.

Position Details

Inpatient & outpatient OB / GYN care

Outpatient clinic visits : diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education

Surgical procedures including laparoscopic techniques

Coordination with multidisciplinary teams and specialty referrals

EMR documentation and safe prescribing practices

Call coverage :

• Weekdays : Mon Thurs, 24-hour shifts
• Weekends : Fri Mon, 72-hour coverage
• Holidays begin at 8 : 00 am

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of OB / GYN experience

Board Certified / Eligible by ABOG

Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state or territory)

ACLS or BLS certification

EMR proficiency

Cultural humility and respect for tribal communities

Statement of Health

Immunizations : MMR, Varicella, TB, Hep B, Flu, Tdap / Td

Background check and IHS orientation required
