Academic Non-Invasive Cardiologist

The Division of Cardiology at Albany Medical College is seeking an academic non-invasive Cardiologist to join our team. This position will focus on all aspects of non-invasive cardiology. Albany Medical College is one of the nation's oldest private medical schools, founded in 1839, and is the only academic tertiary care hospital in the Capital Region of Upstate New York. Position details : Inpatient consultative and critical cardiac care duties plus non-invasive cardiology in an office-based practice Work alongside a team of 17 academic cardiologists at the main teaching campus with 7 additional cardiologists at community-based sites Collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team of APPs, nurses and technicians Opportunities to work alongside experts in a wide range of cardiology specialties including : Imaging Interventional Cardiology Electrophysiology Structural heart diseases Advanced heart failure Access to thriving ACGME-accredited fellowships in general cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology Comprehensive academic environment with opportunities for teaching and research We are looking for successful candidates with the following : Board certification or board eligibility in cardiovascular diseases Additional subspecialty certification such as echocardiography and nuclear cardiology are desirable.
