As the Group Sales Manager youll be a part of the strategy and execution of group business at one of Utahs premier resorts. Youll focus on corporate SMERF government and association markets building lasting relationships and driving revenue across rooms meetings and events.
This is a dynamic people-centered role where youll combine strategic thinking hospitality expertise and hands-on leadership to grow business mentor your team and elevate the Westgate brand.

What Youll Do as a Group Sales Manager :

Serve as a liaison between Sales Director Revenue Management Inventory Accounting and Resort OperationsManage group programs and events from initial inquiry through executionMaintain organized files for all group bookings and ensure accurate documentationConduct site inspections for prospective clients and remain familiar with competitive set propertiesFollow up on all group inquiries and bureau-generated leadsPrepare group contracts block rooms send agreements to clients and offer upsell amenitiesMaintain and update group room control logs (GRC)Source and solicit new group business across targeted marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with local CVBs chambers of commerce and community partnersNegotiate group contracts within established guidelinesDevelop group sales campaigns including mailers telemarketing and sales call strategiesCreate group booking incentives to support revenue goalsCoordinate with Reservations Manager on source / origin codesPartner with sales support to enhance tracking and reporting toolsMeet and exceed monthly goals set by the Director of Revenue Management (DORM)Deliver presentations to corporations HR departments or other decision-making groupsAssist with additional projects as needed.Qualifications :
