Position Overview
Join a compassionate healthcare team providing quality outpatient care in a community hospital setting. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will support providers by performing clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient patient care and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including taking vital signs and medical histories
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Assist providers during patient examinations and treatments
- Perform phlebotomy and other laboratory procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule patient appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patient use
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Job Requirements
Current CMA certification or active LVN licensure requiredPrevious clinical experience in a medical office or outpatient setting preferredStrong clinical skills including phlebotomy and medication administrationProficient in electronic health records and standard medical softwareExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
