Job Summary and Qualifications Ultrasound Technologist At HCA West Florida, we are committed to creating a world-class experience for each patient. We are currently seeking an Ultrasound Technologist on a full-time / part-time / PRN / per diem / as-needed basis. If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now! Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to : Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner Perform sonogram examinations in accordance accurately and in a timely manner Responsible for imagining, recording and processing ultrasound images Obtain and document complete patient history as it relates to the procedure ordered and informed consent Maintain statistical results for quality improvement Qualifications A two-year Allied Health degree or successful program completion at a 12-month CAAHEP approved School of Ultrasound Technology ARDMS registry : RVT, AB or OB / GYN specialty(ies) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification One (1) to three (3) years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist (or Sonographer) Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar / spelling, computer (MEDITECH), and clerical skills Ability to read / comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is a 100 bed acute care hospital.
