We are seeking a highly skilled Network-Layer / System-Level Wireless Engineer with deep expertise in 5G / 6G, RAN, ORAN, network performance, mobility, network analytics . This role focuses on designing, analyzing, and optimizing next-generation wireless systems at the network and system levels. The ideal candidate has strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience working with large datasets, KPI counters, performance metrics, and mobility / traffic analytics.
A PhD in EE, Wireless, Telecom, or CS is mandatory .
Key Responsibilities
Network & System-Level Design
- Design, analyze, and optimize network-layer and system-level wireless algorithms, features, and architectures for 5G / 6G, RAN, and ORAN.
- Develop and evaluate system-level models for coverage, capacity, mobility, interference, and network behavior.
- Contribute to advanced research in RAN intelligence, self-driving networks, automation, and performance optimization.
Data Engineering & SQL Work
Use SQL extensively to extract, aggregate, and analyze large datasets from :network logsKPI / counter databasesperformance monitoring systemssystem-level simulation outputsBuild data pipelines, queries, and dashboards for network analytics and RAN performance insights .Simulation & Modeling
Develop or enhance system-level simulation tools for evaluating new RAN / ORAN features, mobility strategies, and 5G / 6G innovations.Conduct large-scale performance simulations and validate models using real network data.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with product, platform, data, and algorithm teams to integrate new system-level features.Provide deep technical insights to influence architecture, standards, and roadmap decisions.Required Qualifications
PhD in Electrical Engineering , Wireless Communications , Telecommunications , or Computer Science (mandatory).Strong expertise in network-layer / system-level wireless engineering , including :5G / 6G RAN , NR, ORANMobility algorithms (handover, reselection, tracking areas)Interference, traffic, and capacity modelingNetwork automation and analyticsProficiency in SQL for analyzing large-scale datasets, KPIs, PM counters, and logs.Hands-on experience with system-level simulations or advanced modeling tools.Strong programming skills in PythonExperience with cloud-based data processing (optional but preferred).
