General and Pediatric Anesthesiology - Physician - Manhattan and Brooklyn, NY

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologist in Manhattan and General Anesthesiologist in Brooklyn.

The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking to add a faculty member to its Mount Sinai Hospital . The Mount Sinai practices have more than 125 faculty, 165 house staff, and about 25 certified registered nurse anesthetists. The Mount Sinai Hospital is one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious hospitals in the country, and the Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital has been listed among the country’s top children’s hospitals by U.S. News & World Report® in its 2024-25 Best Children’s Hospitals rankings. It is the tertiary referral center for all of Pediatrics in our seven-hospital system. Pediatric call responsibilities are solely beeper call / not in-hospital.

Mount Sinai Brooklyn is seeking to add a full-time faculty member to its practice located at 3201 Kings Highway in Brooklyn. This is a community hospital that performs a range of general, orthopedic, vascular and urologic surgery, as well as endoscopy and interventional radiology procedures. There is no obstetrics, pediatrics, or cardiac surgery. Call is taken from home and as a small tight knit department there is a major emphasize on collegiality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Staff general operating rooms, interventional radiology and endoscopy
• Call responsibilities for pediatric anesthesia staff beeper call / not-in-hospital
• Work regularly with residents and CRNAs
• Academic pursuits encouraged
• Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system, with a busy pediatric hospital featuring both PICU and NICU
• Fully integrated Electronic Health Record

Qualifications

Compensation range from 500K to 600K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
