Besides aligning with our company C.A.R.E. values, at a minimum, you must have :
A High School diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years old,An associate degree in psychology, behavioral science, social services, or related discipline or three years of relevant experience working with Individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dual diagnoses, or forensic involvement,Three years of supervisory / management experience,A current driver’s license and California automobile insurance coverage for driving your personal vehicle to and from various community locations either independently or with other team members, including Individuals, andAbility to read, write and speak English. There will be challenges :
You will see many types of disabilities and mental health challenges in the Individuals (aka the Program Participants) that we serve. You will also learn about the different agencies and resources we work with to help you provide support directly, or indirectly, to our Individuals. Because you care, our Individuals can improve their quality of life and reach their goals.There will be chores :
You will be accountable to manage and develop a multi-disciplinary, high performing team through hiring, training, coaching, developing, and empowering them to consistently deliver exceptional quality services while you oversee and manage service outcomes, e.g., staff schedules and labor hour reporting, completion of Special Incident Reports (SIRs) including tracking patterns and developing preventative action plans, and monitoring compliance, etc. in order to provide the necessary support for each Individual to be fully integrated into the community while maintaining their home, health, and safety.You will take a hands-on approach and role model to ensure the team’s practices, processes, and delivery standards meet or exceed organizational expectations. You will make sure the team provides effective case management, i.e., support the successful execution and updates to Individual Service Plans (ISPs), implement best practices regarding the Individuals’ rights, family dynamics, and observance of appointments and / or personalized needs (e.g., Individuals’ budgets, inter-agency involvement, volunteer hours, work schedules, court-dates, etc.), oversee compliance regarding the assistance of prescription medication administration, etc.There will be chats, C.A.R.E., & cheers :
In collaboration with other key leaders and stakeholders, you will prioritize, lead, and participate in all required training, and team and company meetings to further build knowledge and abilities across the organization, your teams, and within yourself to grow our family. We like to promote from within our own house and you have a critical role in making this happen!You will take ownership of your own behaviors, and coach others, in how to effectively demonstrate the company’s C.A.R.E. values (compassion, adaptability, respect, and empowerment).You will provide timely recognition and regularly solicit and share performance and other related feedback – so your teams, peers, colleagues, and you personally can foster a high performing organization – “care enough to share” as we say in our family so we all learn and grow!
