A Kight Home Center (a division of Carter Lumber) Showroom Coordinator / Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support which includes receptionist duties, organizing showroom, inventory, and accounts receivable. Ensuring that the process is running smoothly and a strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position
Requirements to be considered for the position :
- Previous administrative experience
- Ability to use strong judgement in analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating problems
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to prioritize
- Experience working with numbers and resolving discrepancies
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word & Excel
Responsibilities of the position :
Administrative Duties
Receptionist duties such as answering phones and greeting customersPerforms various administrating functions included filing, faxing and shreddingOrganizing and maintaining showroom displaysEnsures that all mail and faxes are received and routed to proper parties in a timely mannerResponsible for collecting on sales tickets throughout the dayOrders vendor samples and office suppliesKeeps files updated and creates new files as neededSales Support
Reconciles cash drawer and banking informationAssists customers with questionsProcesses new job accounts, ensuring correct salesman is assigned and all paperwork is completeVerifies all product is received and pricing is correctAccounts Receivable
Processes purchase orders by matching with invoices and correcting any discrepanciesFiles purchase orders after verification is completeBenefits (full-time employees)
