Senior Design Engineer

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Senior Design Engineer for direct-hire placement!

The work site will be E. Hartford, CT, Canton, MA or Houston, TX and this is an on-site position. Annual salary is $100K-125K+ per year.

Job Duties :

• Lead the design of structural and mechanical piping systems, including pipe and duct supports, for projects such as water / wastewater treatment plants, power generation facilities, and process utility systems.
• Prepare and review project estimates, evaluate requests for quotes, and develop cost analyses, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Generate and review design submittals, construction documents, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with key mechanical accounts to develop project quotes and secure contracts or purchase orders.
• Oversee post-award activities, including sales order preparation, coordination with purchasing, and ongoing project management through completion.
• Conduct occasional site visits and work closely with sales representatives to promote engineering services and solutions.
• Utilize AutoCAD, BIM software, and other required tools to ensure high-quality design and project delivery.
• Develop and maintain cost data, vendor and subcontractor information, and estimating procedures.
• Train and support junior engineers and staff to enhance team capabilities.
