Anesthesiology

Inpatient only, no outpatient responsibilities

Coverage Requirements

Beeper call required with phone consults and call-back as needed

Volume and call ratios to be determined

General anesthesia required, along with adult and specific pediatric cases

Practice Environment

Inpatient services only; this facility does not handle complex trauma or pediatric emergency cases

No supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) or teaching responsibilities required

Cardiac, thoracic, and complex orthopedic surgeries are not performed at this facility

Certification & Licensing

Board-certified anesthesiologists required

West Virginia medical license required

Must have ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS

Additional Details

MediTech

Expected timeframe for credentialing is 30-60 days; temporary privileges available for qualified candidates

Level 0 (No complex trauma or high-risk pediatrics)
