Then we have an exciting role for you!Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Department of Psychiatry, in a unique collaboration with the State of New Hampshire, seeks a full-time experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to be based primarily at New Hampshire Hospital, our affiliated state psychiatric facility, located in Concord, NH.In this role, you will join a Medical Staff where nurse practitioners comprise one-third of the membership. You will also lead a team of interdisciplinary clinicians, as the Attending Provider, to provide state-of-the-art inpatient psychiatric care to people with severe behavioral health issues. We work collaboratively with an experienced team of fellow nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, and medical providers to deliver high-quality care. The aim of the state-academic partnership is to offer outstanding care, train others in this important work, and add to our fields understanding of how to optimally serve this population. We provide acute, inpatient psychiatric services for adults and the elderly who need active treatment and other essential supports within a continuum of community-based care.
