NEPA Planner

What Your Day Will Look Like :

Consor Engineers is seeking a NEPA Planner to support transportation and infrastructure projects across Utah with a strong focus on UDOT and federal-aid highway work. This role is ideal for someone experienced in NEPA / CEQA who enjoys leading documentation agency coordination and mentoring junior staff with the option to grow into leadership over time.

What Youll Do :

• Lead development of NEPA documentation (CatEx EA EIS) for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate technical studies (biological cultural water resources noise air quality land use).
• Navigate regulatory processes with UDOT FHWA BLM USACE USFS and Utah DEQ .
• Prepare environmental impact analyses permitting documents and supporting reports.
• Participate in public and stakeholder meetings hearings and agency coordination.
• Contribute to proposal writing scope development and client support.
• Mentor junior planners and collaborate with engineers project managers and field teams.

What Youll Need :

5 years of NEPA / environmental planning experience preferably in transportation or infrastructure.
