As an outpatient physical therapy clinic, the atmosphere provided sets the tone for not just a patient's therapy experience but also their ability to excel and meet the goals and plan of care established. Here at Ouachita Physical Therapy we have an amazing team that collaborates together to help our patients overcome all obstacles to live the life they want! We are looking for another Physical Therapist to join our team as we have been growing rapidly. Our goal is to reach the great community of Hot Springs and provide top notch quality care to our very active community.

We see a wide variety of clinical cases from sports related injuries, post op ortho and neuro, post stroke rehab, spinal cord injuries, gait training, and other associated deficits common in the outpatient setting. We love our community and strive to be a big part of the community through volunteer work, school sponsorship, and local charitable events.

Everyone on our team brings something different to the table and that is honestly a trait we love. We like to have fun and upbeat as we know patients come to therapy because they are hurting, but if you can have a great time while healing then there is no better place to be than OPT!

We have a newly renovated facility where we have been blessed to expand to a 3,000 sq ft gym with lots of room to be creative and perform new treatment options. We are constantly trying to find ways to expand our skill sets and let our passion drive our continuing education options.

We are family oriented and holidays are just as important to us as it is the patients where you will earn PTO and have paid holidays. All licensure fees and continuing ed requirements are covered by the company. CPR recertifications will also be covered by the company.

Requirements :

Physical Therapist Licensure

CPR certification (preferred)

Job Duties :

• Perform Initial Evaluations, Progress Reports, Discharge Summaries, creating Plan of Cares with the individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Complete patient documentation in a timely manner.
• Exhibit effective communication skills with patients and staff.
• Work effectively with other staff members to resolve problems that may arise with patient care / satisfaction.
• Have fun, remember why you became a PT, and bring that same tenacity to work each day!
