Description The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account an individual patient special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images. Required Qualifications : Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire : Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License Or Upon hire : Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Upon hire : New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
