Director of Social Work, MSW - SNF Located in Batavia, NY

Salary : $70K to $90K (based on experience)

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Must have MSW
  • Must have several years of experience as a Director of Social Work in a skilled nursing facility
  • Must have experience in long-term care
  • Must have strong organizational and case management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities of the Director of Social Work-Nursing Home :

  • Plans and directs a comprehensive social services program which provides support services for residents and families.
  • Responsible for coordinating all admissions and discharges to ensure facility census is kept at its maximum capacity.
  • Participates in an interdisciplinary team approach to better serve the needs of the facility population.
