This Director of Rehabilitation/DOR position is a great opportunity for a Texas licensed therapist (OTA) to oversee, teach, and mentor a supportive team of therapists in an environment built on integrity and progressive, ethical care.
Job Summary: The DOR must demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the role of rehabilitation for all therapy disciplines. They will review all relevant data and utilize clinical judgement to ensure appropriate delivery of therapy care to maximize outcomes and meet desired goals at discharge. The DOR will also participate in facility and company meetings, while adhering to established confidentiality standards and ensuring staff understand and are compliant with the Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulations related to therapy service delivery. Finally, they will provide a safe environment to utilize tools and equipment in a safe manner complying with all infection control, universal precautions, and standards for the healthcare professional.
