Job OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged 12 weeks to 5 years. The Early Childhood Teacher will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our students, ensuring their safety and well-being while encouraging their love for learning.
- Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on development milestones.
- Employ effective behavior management techniques to maintain a respectful and orderly classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum that incorporates math, literacy, and other essential skills.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Support childrens individual needs through tailored activities and interventions.
- Experience
- Proven experience working with young children in daycare or educational settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation is highly desirable.
- Understanding of standardized testing processes as they relate to early childhood education is beneficial.
- 2500 Documented hours in child care or human service field
