Description

Overview / Function : The role provides miscellaneous support to the warehouse team truck maintenance shop and building and grounds maintenance.

Major Responsibilities :

• Work with the warehouse and delivery teams to coordinate trailer movement in order to maximize daily dock allocation.
• Conduct daily checks of trailers for raw materials and full goods. Assess trailers which need to be relocated or loaded.
• Wash Atlantic truck and trailer fleet.
• Properly store inactive trailers and ensure all trailers brought to the docks have their wheels chocked.
• Maintain proper order of customer pick up trailers brought to the docks. Ensure a complete and accurate list of trailers.
• Follow all company safety regulations policies and standards in addition to all DOT laws.
• Execute with great care when utilizing company vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain company grounds (pick up trash leaf removal and snow removal)
• Housekeeping Responsibilities (cleaning organizing).
• Help with the removal of recycling materials and trash (loading trucks and hauling).
• Report problems or damages that occur.
• Other duties as required.
• Fork-Lift operation including the loading and unloading of trailers.
