work closely with the full range of pediatric specialists and surgeons found at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. We are proud to employ more than 120 CHKD board-certified pediatricians and nurse practitioners in 19

As a CMG Pediatrician, your responsibilities

include :

Providing high-quality, compassionate pediatric care in an outpatient practice setting.

Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions in children.

Building strong connections with patients and families and fostering a supportive environment is important.

Participating in rotating on-call duties as needed.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including subspecialists, nursing staff, and on-call triage.

Ensuring patient care is aligned with best practices and medical guidelines.

Engaging in continuing medical education and professional development.

Applicants must meet these qualifications :

Board eligible or board certified in pediatrics (if board eligible; certification must be obtained within 2 years of residency completion).

Must possess a valid Virginia medical license.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care.

Ability to build excellent rapports with children and families.
