Windows System Engineer

Take2 Consulting is seeking an experienced Windows Engineer to support a fast-paced operations and development environment in support of a Leidos Prime Program. The role provides hands-on engineering, administration, and operational support for a secure mission network supporting a 24x7x365 Research & Development community. This position requires a proactive professional with strong technical acumen, customer service excellence, and the ability to integrate within an existing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ACAS, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), and Windows infrastructure operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Design, plan, and implement Windows-based solutions to meet mission and customer requirements.
• Support integration of systems, network, and virtualization technologies within a secure data center environment.
• Manage full lifecycle solution delivery, including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and ongoing operational support.
• Communicate technical details, project plans, and solution recommendations to internal teams, leadership, and customer stakeholders.
• Conduct technical evaluations of products, cost analyses, and risk assessments to inform leadership decisions.
• Install and integrate complex software suites and related packages across data center systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows server hardware, applications, and software integration.
• Monitor and optimize system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity planning.
• Support daily data center operational activities and resolve technical issues within SLA timelines.
• Maintain and implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and ensure system compliance.
• Administer and troubleshoot ACAS and ePO servers, including Host-Based Security System (HBSS) components.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as SOPs, As-Built diagrams, and user guides.
