Job description

Join our team as a Healthcare Customer Support Specialist and make a difference in the lives of others! At Maximus, we are committed to providing top-notch support to consumers navigating complex healthcare plans. We offer a competitive salary of $15.00 / hr, along with a $500 new hire bonus and potential bonuses of up to $2,400. You will thrive in a flexible work environment with comprehensive training provided.

Location : On-site in Brownsville, TX

Schedule : Flexible, Full-Time opportunities available. Site hours are Monday - Sunday, 5 a.m. - 9 p.m. Night shifts are desirable, with a 10% shift differential for hours worked between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist customers with basic and routine inquiries via phone, email, web chat, or written correspondence.
  • Utilize a computerized system for tracking and troubleshooting.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to calls, using pre-scripted responses.
  • Assist with online applications and submissions to healthcare providers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client regulations and policies.
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • High School diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Fluent and professional communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to work on-site at our Brownsville office for effective collaboration.
