Job Description :

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville is seeking a full-time Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon faculty at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant / Associate / Full Professor to join our team. The position will be located primarily in the Jacksonville area, but may support the growing NE Florida region. Major responsibilities include performing hand / wrist surgeries and procedures and providing ambulatory clinical care. This position will report to the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Expected Salary :

Salary and academic appointment is negotiable and the benefits are excellent.

Required Qualifications :

Candidates should have an MD and be board certified or board eligible. Candidate must be fellowship trained in Hand Surgery and be able to obtain a Florida Medical License.

  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice and a strong commitment to patient-centered care
  • Extensive experience in performing complex procedures and surgeries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex medical concepts to students
  • A passion for teaching and a dedication to fostering academic growth
