Overview :

Reporting to the Nursing Program Coordinator, including having consultation with the Dean, School of Nursing, and each Campuss Program Director and Associate Program Director, School of Nursing the Nursing Clinical Coordinator Assistant is responsible for managing and maintain Stratford Universitys Clinical Sites, for nursing students on each campus for the Nursing Program such that the students are able to meet the educational requirements. This is a heavily administrative role within Stratford Universitys School of Nursing. The Nursing Clinical Coordinator works as a part of a team, partnering with the Nursing Operation Coordinator and the Nursing Scheduler Coordinator. The Nursing Clinical Coordinator Assistant acts a liaison between the School of Nursing and the Universitys Clinical Sites. This role is responsible for the onboarding of new faculty, creation of faculty files, and managing the entire clinical site required documentation at the end of each term. The Nursing Clinical Coordinator Assistant is responsible for complex communication and problem solving to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of contacts inside and outside of the school and University. The Nursing Clinical Coordinator Assistant operates from a solid understanding of nursing education and practice, combined with knowledge of the organizational environments where nursing is a practice.

Affiliates

• Maintaining current affiliate list including contact info, accreditation, expiry date for contracts, needed documentation, etc
• Maintaining contracts current and new (BSN), new for MSN and CNA ensuring renewal when needed
• Help Lead with new affiliate contract information and processing when needed
• Reviewing and updating clinical site list each year in the Fall for COI renewal
• Maintain sharepoint Clinical Coordination folder including updated documentation blanks and site specifics
