Job Summary :

We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst with expertise in SQL and Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in analyzing and visualizing data, generating insights, and supporting business decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large datasets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Query, manipulate, and analyze data using SQL (joins, inserts, updates, stored procedures).
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards in Power BI to provide actionable insights.
  • Clean, transform, and prepare datasets for reporting and analysis.
  • Assist in data validation, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into visual reports.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and patterns to support business decisions.
  • Document data processes and ensure best practices in data management.

Qualifications :

  • 1-3 years of experience in a data analysis role.
  • Proficiency in SQL (writing queries, working with relational databases).
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (creating dashboards, DAX calculations, data modeling).
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros are a plus).
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices and reporting principles.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data transformation is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Nice-to-Have :

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud databases (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Exposure to business intelligence tools beyond Power BI (Tableau, Looker, etc.).
