As a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of Global I&O team within the FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB) IT Department. This position will take a lead role within the Infrastructure Engineer team with a focus on designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the FDB Global IT infrastructure while leveraging the latest technology. The role is responsible for ensuring that IT platforms are secure, reliable, backed up and always available. In addition, the role will also provide BAU technical governance on projects and solution design. The role is also responsible for the QoS regarding Infrastructure services and will provide 3rd / 4th level Infrastructure support duties as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE
- Supporting the Architect function to oversee, document and prepare the updates to the existing environment to address business needs
- Lead on the day-to-day support of the FDB Physical, Virtual and Cloud based IT Platforms
- Manage resource utilization on BAU and IT projects
- Ability to create, follow and implement technical roadmaps and strategies
- Leads the engineer teams on (design, build, testing) on complex IT and Business projects
- Own the availability, capacity, and continuity management processes to ensure availability of systems.
- Work with the established service management tool (ServiceNow) to record, update and manage incidents
- Coordinate changes to service, configuration items, organizational change, supplier change, and associated documentation
- All other service deliverables dependent on business needs

FDBU works with technical data, technology and materials that are subject to U.S. export laws and regulations. This position will require access to technical data, technology and source code that is controlled under U.S. export laws and regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations at 22 C.F.R. Parts 120 – 130 and Export Administration Regulations in 15 C.F.R. Part 730 – 774, as may be amended.
