Key Responsibilities Assign codes to hospital inpatient accounts using 3M Encoder and Dolbey Computer Assisted Coding programs Work with various teams to ensure coding accuracy and meet discharge timelines Assist in training team members on inpatient coding as necessary Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High school diploma and medical coding certificate program or 2-year HIM program One to three years of acute care inpatient hospital coding experience or completion of inpatient training Inpatient coding knowledge and familiarity with coding guidelines Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and coding software Licensure or certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CPC-P
