Job Title : General Production

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team on a 3-month contract with the potential to become a long-term position. As a General Production worker, you will be working on a production line involved in making various kinds of cured meats. Your tasks will include labeling, packaging, palatalizing, and general warehouse duties such as cleaning and sanitizing. You will also be trained to use mixers for making different types of salamis, casing and peeling salami, and meat cutting using knives.

Responsibilities

• Work on a production line for cured meats
• Label, package, and palatalize products
• Perform general warehouse duties including cleaning and sanitizing
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Use mixers to make different salamis
• Case and peel salamis
• Cut meat and use knives proficiently
• Properly utilize manufacturing equipment such as choppers, mixers, and stuffers
• Craft food products from raw ingredients to packaging and shipping
• Be available to work overtime and occasional weekends as required to meet production needs

Work Environment

You will be working in a cold meat production facility with temperatures ranging from 40-50 degrees. The environment is predominantly Spanish-speaking, and you must be comfortable working in conditions where there is blood on the floor from meat processing. The shift is from 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
