Project Manager

Steampunk is seeking a creative and hands-on Project Manager with expertise in delivering innovative technology solutions.
Responsibilities will include team leadership for the complete life cycle of solution development and delivery, providing Agile Project Management support and Scrum Master support for Agile teams, coordinating with product owners and stakeholders on prioritizing the backlog, creating release schedules and roadmaps based on assessment recommendations, and establishing technical practices and release management standards that align with the customer's process. This individual will also ensure the team is following, and effective at, Agile scrum processes as well as driving high client satisfaction.
Contributions
You will work with stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and requirements. Working with our team's Technical Lead, you will ensure that any designs align with our client's objectives. One of your key functions is to learn how things worked in the past, present data about how things are now, and show how it can improve by creating assets such as system maps and diagrams.
Qualifications
Required :
- Bachelor's plus 14 years of professional experience or Master's plus 12 years of professional experience.
- 10 years of experience in project management / leading teams.
- Authorized to work for any U.S. employee and ability to obtain a U.S. government Secret Security Clearance.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and written skills.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and written skills with the ability to communicate concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Builds trust and strong client relationships through empathy, professionalism, and active listening.
- Resolves conflicts and maintains a solution-oriented environment.
- Navigates ambiguity and adapts quickly to changing project needs, managing scope creep and mitigating risks.

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $175,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
