Job Summary :
Hosts are required to facilitate reservations, seat and greet guests, supervise the floor, create server assignments, communicate between FOH and BOH, communicate with the service team, and perform any other duties as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Assure proper set up of all host areas
- Maintain knowledge of current menu, daily specials and beverage items
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests immediately upon arrival
- Seat guests in an efficient manner and manage table turn times
- Answer the phone, provide accurate information and take proper messages
- Book & confirm reservations while following Open Table guidelines
- Keep menus clean, organized & up to date
- Assist servers with bussing & setting tables
- Ensure that all appliances, fixtures, and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, and report any concerns to the the Campo Management Team
- Ensure that all company policies, the mission statement and departmental objectives are followed and utilized at all time
