Job Summary and Responsibilities

Diagnosis and Treatment :

Diagnosing and treating a variety of illnesses, from common colds and flu to chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension.

Preventive Care :

Providing routine check-ups, immunizations, screening tests, and health-risk assessments.

Chronic Disease Management :

Managing long-term conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and other chronic illnesses.

Referral to Specialists :

Referring patients to specialists when necessary for specialized care.

Health Education and Counseling :

Educating patients about healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and medical treatments.

Coordinating Care :

Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.

Patient Communication :

Communicating effectively with patients and their families to build trust and ensure patient understanding of their care plan.

Documentation :

Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.

Continuing Medical Education :

Staying up-to-date on medical advancements and best practices to provide the best possible care.

Job Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) : Completion of an accredited medical school program.
• Residency Program : Completion of a residency in family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics.
• Board Certification : Certification or eligibility for certification in a primary care specialty (family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics).
• Medical License : A valid medical license to practice in the relevant state.
