Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week outpatient vascular assignment requiring MA licensure and AHA BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an outpatient vein care practice specializing in vascular ultrasound
  • Procedures include upper and lower extremity venous duplex, venous reflux testing, carotid artery duplex, ABI, PVR, and abdominal / pelvic venous exams
  • Protocols follow IAC vascular testing guidelines
  • Day shift, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • Position reports to the Technical Director
  • May be required to assist with annual IAC audits and re-accreditation
  • Adherence to established vascular ultrasound protocols under the guidance of the Technical Director
  • Participation in IAC audits and the tri-annual re-accreditation process is expected
  • FLU vaccination is mandatory, no religious or medical exemptions are allowed
  • Parking may incur daily costs, with no validated parking available at some locations
  • Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard travel rate

  • Active MA Ultrasound Technologist license required; MA conditional licenses not accepted
  • BLS certification through AHA required
  • No minimum experience required
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
  • License required if applicable
