System Design Expert

Overall Purpose : Design applications, platforms or services by translating core business requirements into comprehensive technical solutions, ensuring functional, performance, and reliability through hands-on system design, technical enablement, and strategic decision-making across platform, network, software, and cloud environments.

Key Roles and Responsibilities : Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following :

• System Design and Architecture : Design and create scalable, high-performance, and reliable system architectures and platforms.
• Requirements Analysis and Integration : Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure seamless integration of system components.
• Technical Leadership and Collaboration : Provide guidance to development teams, align technical solutions with business objectives, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Performance, Reliability, and Troubleshooting : Conduct performance and reliability analysis, and resolve system issues and bottlenecks.
• Documentation, Security, and Continuous Improvement : Maintain detailed system documentation, ensure security and compliance, and stay updated with industry trends for ongoing improvement.

Job Contribution : An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

Education / Experience : Bachelor's degree (BS / BA) desired in Computer Science. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Salary Range : $143,800.00 - $215,800.00
