Mainframe z / OS Systems Engineer

A company is looking for a Mainframe z / OS Systems Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and customize z / OS operating systems and ISV software

Collaborate with various teams for problem resolution and technical solution implementation

Support mainframe hardware upgrades and provide informal project management for complex projects

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience with installing ISV software from vendors

6+ years of experience with JCL, UNIX Shell, IBM system utilities, zSeries, z / OS, and MVS

6+ years of experience with software installation and customization

5+ years of experience with system performance, capacity planning, and disaster recovery

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
