Job Summary

Exciting new opportunity to start andto join an innovative, community-based behavioral health and intellectual / developmental disabilities services organization located in South Georgia.Georgia Pines Community Service Board is a public, not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of $25M and a diverse workforce of 300 direct-care and support staff. The selected applicant will have the pleasure of providingpersons, families or vulnerable populations with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses and physical or developmental disabilities. Provides patient education and counseling, advises caregivers, and makes necessary referrals for other social services. Completes bio-psychosocial assessments, collaborates with consumers to complete individualized treatment plans, conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions, makes appropriate referrals for needed services, responsible for pursuing licensure as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree is required and eligibility to be licensed as a LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
