Leffler Consulting LLC is seeking to fill the Travel Coordinator position for one of its customers. /
- Position : Travel Coordinator
- Location : Chantilly, VA
- Position Type : Onsite
- Clearance : TS / SCI with an adjudicated polygraph
Responsibilities :
- Analyze, evaluate, assign, monitor progress, and follow up with closure office responses to the COTR
- Serve as the agencys primary resource for all deployment-related matters for official foreign travel temporary duty (TDY) assignments associated with deployment readiness, including short-notice travel requests, and filling gaps for critical / emergency travel requirements.
- Ensure all deployment tasks comply with GDC guidelines and established processing timelines
- Conduct pre-TDY coordination briefings and verify that all travelers have completed the required training
- Process all foreign deployment requests, including monitoring Automated Passport and Country Status (APACS) submissions, securing required country and theater approvals, and verifying country-specific requirements
- Provide continuing support to deployed personnel worldwide
- Maintain the action tracking system and relevant databases
- Coordinate, review, and evaluate responses, ensuring quality, timeliness, and accuracy of responses are achieved. Provide daily deployment reports to senior leaders based on information maintained in tracking systems.
- Develop standard operating procedures and serve as a facilitator for user requirements
- Interact with management (at multiple organizational levels) and the technical workforce to draft, consolidate, coordinate, and edit internal and external correspondence.
- Review, interpret, develop, streamline, and communicate policies and procedures that apply to the GDC, the agency, and the IC / DoD community
- Review, analyze, prioritize, ensure quality control, and approval through appropriate channels for all communications and materials leaving the GDC
- Manage records created and participate in Agency, Directorate, and Program Office Records Management processes
- Perform other duties as assigned to support corporate initiatives
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant work experience, or a high school diploma (or GED equivalent) and 10 years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience in one of the following areas : federal acquisitions, Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC), and National Security policy
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ensure their completion
- Ability to work as a team member, sharing information and knowledge, and providing back-up support to other multi-functional team members as necessary
