Part-Time Public Safety Officer (2 positions available)

Qualifications

Valid drivers license required. Ability to maintain a NYS Security Guard License. Ability to obtain and maintain a New York State First Responder Certification. Ability to stand / walk on post for approximately 80% of assigned tour. Ability to lift / carry a minimum weight of twenty (20) pounds. Ability to walk up / down numerous flights of stairs. Ability to work rotating shifts weekends holidays and in inclement weather. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a college or university setting preferred. Familiarity with Jeanne Clery Act compliance and Title IX responsibilities is a plus.
