Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control Full-Time

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control Full-Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence and customer-focused approach will foster a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You'll be part of an agile and reliable team that values innovation, integrity, and putting people first while delivering exceptional service through collaboration and communication.

Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $15.59 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 09 : 00 PM-05 : 00 AM

Tue 09 : 00 PM-05 : 00 AM

Wed 09 : 00 PM-05 : 00 AM

Thur 09 : 00 PM-05 : 00 AM

Fri 09 : 00 PM-05 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by adhering to security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and manage visitor flow.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with Allied Universal training and site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including the perimeter, to help to deter potential issues and identify any unusual activity.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or violations as required by site procedures.
  • Operate access control systems and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Support Allied Universal management in upholding the security-related standards and practices specific to a manufacturing and industrial environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
