About this Job :

This is a full-time position offering competitive pay at MedStar Health, where you will provide exceptional occupational therapy services across our four hospitals in the Baltimore region :

  • MedStar Union Memorial Hospital
  • MedStar Harbor Hospital
  • MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center
  • MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for patients through screening, evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation. Your expertise will contribute to treatment reassessments, discharge planning, and thorough documentation. You will also participate in program planning and protocol development, furthering our commitment to patient-centered care.

Primary Duties :

  • Conduct evaluations, review patient history, perform assessments, and document findings. Develop tailored treatment plans, explain results, and involve patients and families in goal-setting.
  • Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including initial evaluations, progress summaries, and discharge plans. Ensure timely follow-up care while maintaining organized records.
  • Manage schedules efficiently, meet productivity expectations, and adapt to department needs. Maintain professionalism and flexibility across various work settings to ensure seamless patient access.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary teams, hospital committees, and community outreach. Support department goals, comply with regulations, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Pursue continuing education and maintain professional competency by mentoring students, assisting new staff, and leading training efforts.

    • Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy (required)
  • A Master's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy (required)
  • A Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy

    • This position has a hiring range of : USD $72,758.00 - USD $130,041.00 / Yr.
