A company is looking for a Professional Coder.

Key Responsibilities :

Apply diagnostic and procedural codes to patient health records for document retrieval, analysis, and claim processing

Audit medical records for compliance and develop audit reports and procedures

Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory requirements while identifying opportunities for improvement

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education :

Credentials such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CDIP, CPMA, or CPC

Completion of relevant courses in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and coding

Minimum of two years of related coding experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting

Computer proficiency and knowledge of software programs, including Windows

Valid Wisconsin driver license
