Job Description

Position : Desktop Support Technician

Location : Billerica, MA

Duration : 6 - 12 months

Role Level : CE 5 (possible contract to hire)

End Client : Merck

Hourly Rate : $17.86

Job Duties :

• Install, maintain, and repair company and multi-vendor systems, including hardware, software, networking products, and operating systems.
• Install and optimize hardware, software, and networking configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues.
• Advise customers on preventative maintenance and configurations to enhance product performance.
• Follow up on potential or desired services (Sales / Systems Engineering) or escalate problems as needed.
• Maintain a functional understanding of company service solutions.
