Seeking A Talented Neurologists Physician to Join the Section of Neurology in Spokane, WA

The Spokane VA Medical Center actively recruiting to fill Board Certified Staff physician in Neurology (BE considered) to help care for our Veterans – American’s Heroes.

The Spokane Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting Neurologists to manage a variety of neurological conditions of Veteran patients who are experiencing seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative disorders, migraines, neurological disorders and more.  You will see general neurology patients in outpatient clinic and will have inpatient Neurology consultant duties. Participate in all aspects of a general Neurology program, to include clinical, administrative, academic, and research components. Patient caseload may be inpatient, outpatient, or both and include a range of neurological disorders. Interpret EEGs & perform / interpret EMGs. Manageable volume & on-call. BC / BE in Neurology is required.  Optional procedures include occipital nerve blocks, Botulinum toxin injections for dystonia or migraine prophylaxis.

We have a strong affiliation with the University of Washington & Washington State School of Medicine with an opportunity to teach residents & medical students and obtain an academic appointment.

The Mann-Grandstaff VAMC – located in Spokane, Washington – is part of VA Northwest (VISN20), encompassing a main Medical Center, and three community-based outpatient clinics throughout Washington and Northern Idaho. The VAMC operates 23 hospital beds and 31 rehabilitation-oriented nursing home beds. A mobile clinic, outfitted with two exam rooms, provides selected primary care services to veterans living in rural areas.

Work Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday

• Must be U.S. Citizen – Non-US Citizens may be considered, (J1 Visa sponsorship)
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice Neurology in the U.S.
• Board Certification in Neurology preferred, but Board Eligibility may also be considered.
