Descripción del trabajoHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent Standard office equipment such as computers copiers fax and scan machines telephone systems and office automation systems to perform a substantial range of medical record maintenance support. Shall have experience and efficiency in word processing and data entry. Shall have at least one year full time experience as a Release of Information technician or Health Information Techniciation performinig ROI functions in a medical setting. Shall have the ability to understand analyze and interpret medical information. Shall have experience in data collection techniques and medical data collection codes. Shall have experience in verifying data and correcting errors. Shall have experience in working with patient medical records. Shall have experience in gathering data compiling information and preparing reports Shall be able to read write speak and understand English well enough to effectively communicate with customers. Shall be knowledgeable of equipment and supply terminology and skill sufficient to identify and use necessary equipment and supplies properly. Be a U.S. citizen.
Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Medical Records Technician (Central Texas Veterans Health Care System) in Temple TX.
This position offers :
- Full-time Opportunity- Mon-Fri 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm CST
- Consistent and predictable income
