NJITO System Admin Middleware NEW

Position entails an expert-level WebSphere Application Server administrator who has current hands-on experience using V8.5 or higher. Excellent verbal and written communication skills is Required.

In-Person Interview Preferred.

Note : This is a Hybrid position. Candidate will work in the office 1 Day / Wk. Candidate will need to be local.

SUMMARY :

The IBM Technical Specialist - Middleware under the direct supervisor of the Chief of the AOCs Information Technology Office (ITO) or other designated ITO representative will be required to collaborate and provide technical expertise to ITO and assigned unit. The ideal candidate must have experience in migrating and or upgrading to a newer version of WebSphere. The ideal candidate should have experience in planning design and assessment of new & existing middleware infrastructures.

Qualifications and Skills :

• They must have experience in the migration of customer or vendor applications running on WebSphere from one major version to another.
• They should be able to demonstrate expertise with the most recent and relevant technologies in the middleware arena.
• They must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to collaborate with internal and external groups including vendors.
