Human Resources Intern

This is a summer 2026 intern position within the Human Resources function at MKS. At MKS Inc. we provide students with opportunities to learn and contribute via :

A Day in Your Life at MKS : As a Human Resources Intern, you will perform a variety of HR Generalist responsibilities and work on continuous improvement projects. Assignments will include exposure to areas such as employee relations, compensation, onboarding, data collection and reporting, leave of absence management, employee engagement, culture of belonging & inclusion, and talent development. You will make an impact by :

• Working both independently and within teams.
• Contributing to priorities that support business and people success.
• Interacting with employees from varying disciplines and backgrounds.
• Supporting and / or leading projects.
• Preparing and presenting data.

Skills you bring : Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Human Resources, Business, or relevant majors

Physical Demands & Working Conditions : Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time

Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand

Must be able to exchange accurate information

Operates in a professional office environment

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery

Compensation and Benefits : Hourly Pay Range : $25.00 to $28.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

MKS offers a benefits package for interns / co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
